What: Brazilian Day Festival Photo Shoot


When: Saturday 22 September 2018, departure time is planned for 3:00 pm with arrival back in SCG at about 9:30 pm

 

Where: Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, 7380 East 2nd Street, Scottsdale

Who: On a first come/first served basis group size limited to 16 Club Members. 


Itinerary: “Brazilian Day” is a 1 day festival-event celebrating Brazil’s Independence Day. Each year, the event creates an open window to discover Brazilian Culture past and present through Music, Dance, Performance, Martial Arts, Food, Drinks and more! This event provides an opportunity to learn more about Brazilian culture through entertainment and education while exploring the traditional customs of Brazil and its many cultural influences. Brazilian Day Arizona is the largest, most authentic Brazilian Festival in Arizona, drawing more than 25,000 people since its inception.

Upon arrival at each location photographers will be ‘on their own’ to wander about exploring and photographing, returning to their vehicles at agreed upon times. Additional stops of opportunity will be made along the way.


Camera Equipment Requirements:  Any and all cameras including cell phones you would like to use for street photography.

 

Additional Information: Additional photo shoot details will follow for those signing up.


Costs: Tickets: $15 (currently are discounted online)


Food/drinks: Food from vendors = $ individual preference


Car Pools:   We will meet in the parking lot outside of Angela's at 2:45 PM to form car pools and depart at 3:00 PM. Use the parking lot on the south side of Remington drive farthest from the restaurant. Passengers will share fuel expenses; estimated fuel cost for the round trip is $16.00 per vehicle.

 

Registration Deadline: Wednesday 19 September, 2018 and please indicate if you are willing to drive.
